Frequently Asked Questions:

• Will I have to write that long web address every time I want to access CEWS?
  No, you will have to type it only once. After you type it and as soon as you have a response from your PC, you may save the URL address in your cell phone bookmarks. Check your cell phone manual on how to save a bookmark and recall it.
   

  When I try to reach CEWS on my PC, I get the error
  "Data server not available".  What should I do?
  This means that you have a WAP 2.0 phone and for some reason it is not backward compatible...

  Is it functional with WAP 2.0 phones?
  Yes! But you may need to go trough a WAP Gateway.  Many web hosting providers offer a WAP gateway in their hosting package.
  
  In the CEWS package, we have included a Perl script that will do the tunneling between the WAP gateway and your PC:
  Phone <> WAP Gateway <> Perl script <> Your PC <> CEWS
  
  So your phone will talk to the Perl script instead of directly contacting your PC.
  Please follow set-up instructions included in the Perl script "cews.cgi"
   

  I need to go through a WAP gateway but I find it too complicated.
  Could you help me?
  Sure! At 45$Can/year we can establish the link between your phone and your PC.
  -You won't need to find/switch to a Web hoster providing a WAP gateway
  -Save money, you won't need to have a web site just for that
  -No need to learn HTML,FTP,PERL, etc.

  I'm connected to a Microsoft Exchange Server, will it work?
  Yes but depending on the number of employees in the address book, you may experience some response time delay.  We suggest to set Outlook to search in your personal contact list instead instead of the Global Address List.
